Dragon Group (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We shall therefore only use your name and other information which relates to you in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy.

We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and only if it is relevant to our dealings with you. We will only keep your information for as long as we are either required to by law or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. You can visit the Site and browse without having to provide personal details. During your visit, you remain anonymous, and at no point can we identify you unless you have an account on the Site and log on with your username and password.

Credit Check and Fraud Prevention

We use standard and authorized payment services, and our Credit Check and Fraud Prevention policies are aligned with these companies. All disputes would be handled by the Courts in Sri Lanka.

Marketing and Communications

We may send you other information about us, the Site, our other websites, products, sales promotions, newsletters, SMS updates, or anything relating to our business partners.

If you prefer not to receive this additional information, please click the “unsubscribe” link in any email we send you or follow the un-subscription process detailed in the SMS. Please note that unsubscribing from one medium does not automatically lead to un-subscription from the other.

Video and image publishing

1. Use of Order Media for Promotional Purposes At Dragon Group LK Private Limited, we routinely capture photos, videos, and details of the orders we process. These are published on our official platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, and other social media channels. Please note that these uploads are done strictly for promotional purposes to showcase our work, products, and order fulfillment process. We respect your confidentiality, and these publications are never done in a manner intended to harm or violate anyone’s personal privacy.

2. Opting Out of Media Publication (Prior Notice Required) If you do not wish for the details, photos, or videos of your specific order to be published on our platforms, you must clearly instruct us at the exact time of placing your order. If no such instruction is given at the time of placing the order, we will proceed to publish the media as part of our standard promotional activities. Dragon Group LK Private Limited will not be held liable or responsible for any issues, disputes, or inconveniences that arise after the publication if a prior request to withhold the content was not made.

3. Content Removal (Takedown) Procedure If a published video or photo causes an issue after the fact (for example, if it causes an inconvenience to the recipient of a gift), we will gladly remove the content, provided the following procedure is strictly followed:

  • Original Customer Only: The removal request must be made directly by the customer who originally placed the order.

  • Original Contact Number: The request must be sent exclusively from the exact WhatsApp number that was used to place the initial order.

  • Proof of Purchase: The customer must submit the relevant Invoice for that specific order alongside the request.

  • Upon receiving a polite request fulfilling all the above conditions (e.g., “Please remove the video related to this invoice”), our team will promptly take down the relevant photo or video.

4. No Third-Party Requests We strictly do not accept, acknowledge, or act upon content removal requests, complaints, or messages from third parties (including the recipients of the gifts) or from alternate phone numbers. Our responsibility and communications are strictly limited to the direct customer who placed the order through their original WhatsApp number.

5. Collection, Protection, and Use of Customer Data

  • Data Collection for Order Fulfillment: In order to successfully process and deliver your orders, we collect essential personal information directly from you. This includes your full name, delivery address, and contact numbers.

  • Data Security and Strict No-Sale Policy: We highly value your privacy and guarantee that your personal data is kept secure within our systems. Dragon Group LK Private Limited strictly does not sell, trade, or share your personal delivery data with any outside third-party organizations.

  • Internal Promotional Activities: The contact information we collect will be used exclusively for the internal promotional activities of Dragon Group LK Private Limited. We may use your contact details to send you direct messages regarding special offers, discounts, new arrivals, and other company promotions.

  • Use of Data for Dispute Resolution and Justification: While we protect your data, we reserve the right to use your personal information to defend the company in the event of a dispute. If a customer makes a false claim, initiates a legal issue (such as making a police entry), or publishes complaints on social media (for example, falsely claiming that a parcel was not delivered), we may use and disclose their relevant personal details, delivery records, and tracking numbers to prove our correctness, justify our actions, and resolve the issue.

  • Strict Limitation of Use: Except for the purposes of order delivery, internal company promotions, and protecting the company against disputes or false claims as explicitly stated above, your personal information will not be used for any other purpose whatsoever.

Cookies

The acceptance of cookies is not a requirement for visiting the Site; however, some functionality and ordering are only possible with the activation of cookies. Cookies are tiny text files that identify your computer to our server as a unique user.

We only use cookies for your convenience in using the Site (for example, to remember your shopping cart without re-entering your email) and not for targeted advertising. Your browser can be set to not accept cookies, but this would restrict your use of the Site. Our cookies are free from viruses and do not contain private details.
